The Celebrities Sports Club were invited to take part in an exhibition match at the Teen Challenge Charity Shield 2009 against the same opponents we played against last year, the Senior Prisons Officers Football Team.
Last year, we played against them and lost to them 2-0. I tried to getting a team together, but due to work commitments, most of the team players couldn’t make it. I managed to get only 13 players but we decided to go ahead anyway because we have always worked closely with Teen Challenge and always supported their cause and what they were trying their best to achieve. Now, back to the game, this is the team I assembled
So we went into the game not expecting much except to go out and have fun. In the end, I am proud to say we managed to win the game with a score of 8-3.
Scorers of the goals were Lloyd (3), Steven (2), Tong Hai (1), Bryan (1), and Alan (1). Everyone brought their “A” game and more importantly, everyone had fun. Here are some more pics…
