They Have Come and Gone

In case you didn’t know, my sister, my bro-in-law and my darling nephews were in town recently.

I was suddenly swamped with a bit of work but I did manage to juggle my work schedule and time spent with family fairly well.  Even got to bring the boys out for a bit while their parents were away in Hanoi and Bali.

Mel and I managed to bring them to see a movie, took them to the pool with my parents and even managed to squeeze in another trip to the pool but only two of them this time cos Carlos managed to live up to his name of Mr Bump a Lot and got himself hurt the day before we were supposed to bring them out, so he couldn’t join us.  Having said that, we did bring them to the pool on a day when it was closed so we had to scramble to get them to another water park.  Luckily enough, thanks to Mel’s cousin, we found out that there was another water park that we were close to and all was good.

We also managed to bring the three boys to watch the 1st practice session of the Singapore Grand Prix.  They enjoyed themselves as boys would but quickly got bored after a while. I will save the Singapore GP post for a later date.

All too soon, they have come and gone, and I am definitely missing them.  We are hoping to be able to make the trip down under really soon.  These boys grow up so fast that I am finding it hard to keep up with them.  Soon enough, they will be taller than me, bigger than me, faster than me and stronger than me.  And I will be left wondering “where in the blue hell did time go to?”

We had so much fun that we actually forgot to take pictures, but I did manage to get some pics on the day they left…. phew.
