Since we had a free day today, baby and I decided to make full use of the fact that we were at home and do something that we had been planning to do.
We rearranged the furniture in our place to give it a different look and feel for the coming festive season.
I also managed to get my a** to the wet market today to get some stuff to cook for dinner. I had been wanting to try out another typical peranakan dish to add to my list of dishes that I have tried and know how to cook. Today was the perfect day to try it out and based on my dear wife’s biased views, it came out quite alright actually.
My work schedule is going to start getting crazy very soon and my sis and my dear nephews will be invading our sunny shores on Monday, so I am really glad that we managed to get all our Christmas chores out of the way. Now, all that is left for us to do is to sit back and welcome Christmas and the New Year with open arms….
