Stayed up to watch the match the other day and may I say, I was duly rewarded as the Red Devils beat their opposition 3-0.
Berba scored his first two goals for his new club and all I can say is “Phew!” I was getting a bit uncomfortable for him. Everybody was expecting a lot for him and the pressure was definitely on. But he was quoted saying
“I was disappointed to miss my first chance because sometimes you only get one chance in the game, but I kept trying and got the two goals,” he said. “I was angry with myself for missing the first chance – I just didn’t hit it right. I was embarrassed: I feel that if I’m getting paid all this money I should be converting these chances!”
I have also been clocking in some mileage for my training and I was really on a roll when I felt a slight twitch in my left knee. It doesn’t feel very good right now and I am laying off the runs for a bit to see what happens. I am just hoping that it will be ok for me to start/continue to train. Fingers crossed.
The next bit of news that we have been dealing with is that my poor Grandma is in hospital right now and we just heard that she will be going in for a surgery tomorrow (actually make that today by the time some of you read this). We are praying and hoping that all goes well.
I know that all her children are really worried and so are her grandchildren. But I do believe that you just have to leave things in the Big Man’s hands and all things will be good.
Yes, it’s always in HIs excellent hands…helps when family gather tog in prayer…where 2 or 3 are gathered in my name…I hope ur grandma is recovering speedily, n that the noisy visitors will be ‘eliminated’ or become more gracious..praying for that too 😛
