My weekend started on Thursday.
Now before you all start going “wah! so lucky one!” “I wish I had your life!”, let me tell you that my weekend started on Thursday because this huge fair started on that day. Yup, Comex 2008 was held at the Suntec Convention Centre over the last four days.
I swear, the number of people I saw at the convention centre was crazy!
As usual, I was hosting for Singtel and over the course of the four days (three actually because Mel covered one of the days for me as I had another show to do on Saturday, but that is another story altogether), I made a couple of new friends, had a great time losing my voice as well as trying my luck as a F1 driver.
I really didn’t do as well as I would have liked to but hey, there is always a first time, and I guess you can only get better right? The simulator is really quite realistic and it was great fun getting to try it out. The cockpit was really uncomfortable tho because I was sitting on a part of my jeans where the sewing for the pocket onto the jeans was jabbing into my behind. Had to stop after 3 laps…. too painful.
Keep an eye out for it, they should be making an appearance at a place near you some time.
