After a wonderful week away, celebrating my birthday, working, and enjoying the beautiful island of Mauritius, we have finally come home to reality. It was a great opportunity to see more of Mauritius as my last time there, all I saw was the airport, the hotel and the airport again.
On the way there and back, I have to mention that the trip was made extra special because, both Mel and myself were upgraded to Business class and it made the trip just that bit more special and comfortable. So I really have to thank the good people of Air Mauritius for that!
The place that we stayed at was the Club Med La Plantation d’Albion. It was beeee-ooo-teee-fooool! Whatever you see in the pictures in their website, was exactly what you would see when you went there. It is the first 5 trident resort of Club Med’s and something that they have reason to be proud of.
Little things like the great GO’s that are assigned to you to make sure that all your needs are attended to, the free flow of bubbly, to the facilities, to the activities, to the food….. oh the food! makes your stay an unforgettable one.
With Candice, our GO who was with us throughout our stay there.
With Abby, the most lovely hostess one could have.
With the crew and the rest of the GO’s who were a fun and great bunch to be around.
I also got to try out a great camera from Olympus. I was really excited to try it because it was a shockproof and waterproof. And as it turned out, the camera took great pictures and had a host of preset functions to take night shots, sunsets, underwater shots, video clips, all at a turn of a dial and a press of a button. Easy to use, and compact in size, it was a joy to use. Just take a look at the results…
To make this whole trip so special, was that I was spending my birthday with my baby, the first one as husband and wife. This is one birthday I will remember for a loooong time!
And now, we are back to reality, and reality is…. Kallang Roar will in cinemas very very soon! Be sure to catch it!
