Today, being Racial Harmony Day, some of the cast members from the upcoming movie “Kallang Roar the Movie” made their first public appearance.
We were part of the Milo booth that was there…. (psst… just in case you didn’t know, Milo are the main sponsors of the movie).
They were screening the trailers on this huge a** HDTV that was mounted on the wall….
Another highlight of the day was that I got to shake the hand of the Prime Minister… grin. A couple of people came up to us to talk to us about the movie and our roles in it… other than that, we had a good time kicking the ball around (duh), taking photos with the Team Singapore people and the Milo ladies.
I went home for a short rest before heading out again to the Cage to play a spot of indoor football at my nephew’s friend’s birthday party (which I crashed). Had a good kickabout with some 13 year old boys with their fathers and worked up a bit of a sweat.
After the game, I went to pick Mel and we headed to the in-laws place for dinner. We also managed to catch some Thai variety show on VCD together with my Mother-in-law and my auntie…. it was actually quite cute… think I might try to learn a bit of Thai before my trip to Chiang Mai next year.
I will be meeting some of the other family members that I have not met, so it might come in useful…. you never know….
… and now, I am going to drag my sorry sore body to bed to catch some shut eye.
Nite!
